There is a long association of Rahu entry into Vrishabha rashi with violent mob events. I want to show just two here:
First event was the last entry into Vrishabha Rashi of Rahu: February 2002
The burning of the 58 pilgrims (burnt alive) in Godhra sparked massive riots in Gujarat in the end of February and March 2002.
Next event is the previous to last entry into Vrishabha Rashi of Rahu: July 1983
This is called Black July in Sri Lanka. Massive anti Tamil pogroms by Sinhalese mobs in response to an attack by the LTTE on the night of 24 July 1983 which killed 13 Sri Lankan soldiers, destroyed in a chain reaction, over the next week or so, at least 3,000 people’s lives and 150,000 people became homeless. Sri Lankan Tamils fled to other countries in the ensuing years, and huge number of Tamil youth joined militant groups. Please note that an action reaction type of response with an emotionally driven mob response occurred in both above cases.
Conclusion: Rahu will enter Vrishabha rashi again in a few months. One is hopeful that the same action reaction response should not occur again but given the history that may be a forlorn hope.
